"New" member from NC. Was here a few years back and forgot my user name and old email is long gone. So I'm new again. Made my way from PA to Florida and now I'm a Half Back. Used to shoot a lot in PA at a nice range where they filmed Jack Reacher. Went to 600 meters marked but you could get to 900 or so. Been out awhile and now looking for places in NC. Looks like Butner is closest. Have not done a lot of long range tactical type shooting but I'm going to give it a go. Hope to get some training in after I buy a house, soon I hope. I've done a lot of hunting in the western states and PA. Mostly the Frank Church but New Mexico, Wyoming, SD and Alaska also. Getting too old for the Church so just looking to shoot, I've killed enough. Have a Surgeon Scalpel in .308, Kreiger 24 MTU McMillan A5 I bought about 6 years ago from Surgeon. Basically new, 250 to 300 round count. So I intend to wring it out. Anyway glad to be back and looking to learn.
