Designed by Triad Tactical to hold two five round AI 5 round AICS magazines(Badger M5/USMC M40A3 etc). The pouches are made of 1000D Cordura and the front side and bottom of the pouches are lined with heavy duty webbing for durability. There is an adjustable exterior shock cord to help secure the second magazine when the first one is removed. The flap/lid to the pouch can be secured with either/both the Fastex buckle or the Velcro material. The Velcro closure has a flap to cover the material, if this method of securing is not needed. The pouches are MOLLE system compatible and are shipped with two short MALICE clips (Tactical Tailor). The pouches can also be attached to older style ALICE gear or be used on a belt.
As with all the Triad pouches for AI mags, you have the option of three methods of secruing the lid:
1. Both Velcro and Buckle
2. "Hide" the Velcro and use just the buckle.
3. Use just the Velcro and let the buckle hang.
If you are not putting them on a MOLLE platform, you can use them on any belt up to 3" wide. Just attach the MALICE clips like in the photo below. Both clips would be done in the same fashion to accommodate your belt width, picture has them different for show and tell.
