"New and Improved" Rem Golden Bullet?

My WalMart was cleaned out of .22 ammo, all they had left was 2500rds of Rem Golden Bullet, so I bought it. I know GB has a well deserved rep for being crap, but these are marked as new and improved, and the bullet design looks slightly different. Has anyone tried the new ones yet? Are they any better?

I sure hope so b/c my wife bought me about 2000rds a couple of years ago and it sucked. My 15-22 hates that stuff and even my 22/45 that will shoot anything had problems with it. Please let us know how it turns out.
