Just purchased and am waiting for my Daniel Defense DD5V5 Hunter to get to my local range.
Any recommendations on books I should read for a new aspiring long range precision shooter that might go on the occasional white tail hunt?
I need a book that just assumes I know nothing. Want to get the fundamentals down.

I'm new as well to long range precision shooting, but this book "Long Range Shooting Handbook, Complete beginners guide to precision rile shooting", by Ryan M. Cleckner came highly recommended to me. The kindle version is only 9.99 and has over 1,800 reviews with a 5 star rating. I'm almost finished with it, and can tell it will be a great resource for a long time. Good luck, and enjoy!
