Got out coyote hunting for the first time in a while with the new AX chassis. It was a great day to be out in Colorado. It should have been a double, but I choked on the first one. Coyote fever I guess. This one was taken at 350 yards off of shooting sticks.

Thanks Sigkey. The rifle started out as a Remy 5-R. I had it re-barreled by GAP in to a .260.

26" Bartlien barrel
3.5-15 NXS MIL/MIL F1
AX chassis
AAC Cyclone can.

I had to go with a 0 MOA base and high rings due to the shroud around the barrel with the AX. I still had enough elevation to reach as far as my bullet is supersonic, so it's all good. I really like that AX chassis.

Is it a bad thing that I noticed the rifle before the yote? Anyways, great looking rifle and yote! I think I know what I'm saving up for after I buy my truck...

Nice lookin rifle. Hey ColoWyo......have you heard anything about them outlawing suppressors in CO for hunting? I ran into Weld County DOW officer out at the pawnee while shooting my suppressed AR. He told me that some changes were in the works for the 2012-2013 hunting season and that suppressors are gonna be a no-go? I dunno...just wondering if you have heard anything. Again, nice lookin rifle.

I haven't heard anything. But with the DOW, you never know.

Thanks for the kind words guys.
