New Barrel Dope(Podcast Idea)

A podcast idea, maybe a stupid question.

You just spun on a new barrel and it has not finished speeding up and that's the only rifle you have to take to a match or a class.
How would you manage that dope? One actual dope card and one extrapolated dope card? What things would you look for while shooting?
I know the easier answer would be shoot it more or take another rifle. This rifle is your only option and shooting it in more is not possible.

I had it happen,

Showed up at K&M(Core/Altus) and when I arrived GAP handed me a new 6CM (prior to factory ammo release) and I had to break it in there.

What I tried to do was shoot 200 rounds in two days to speed it up, then I used my dope to establish the drop. You can back into an MV very easily just use your 600-yard drop.

I gained about 100fps and just adjusted on the fly, basically shoot it, clean it, shoot it another 100, clean it, then dope

Now that you mention it , I think I remember you telling that story in an older podcast. Thanks for the info.
