New Bolt Handle

So I'm glad I waited on buying a Glade Armory bolt, I just could not warm up to the OEM bolt handle on the Target model.

Well They say Necessity is the Mother of invention... soooo

I got a Bolt knob for $19 off a guy...
took the bolt handle apart and about 15 mins on a Bench Grinder...

and then running a 5/16 x 24 Die...

some paint and loctite....


Now I am much happier.... and it matches my big rifle...

I agree. Nice job. I have read about some fitment issues with the Glades Armory bolt. You won't have that issue.

That looks great! I have had issues with my Glades Armory bolt handle with 1) the bolt stop sometimes doesn't work when running the bolt and the bolt comes out the back, and 2) the Glades bolt knob gets in the way of my trigger finger and I need to change my finger positioning to one that is a bit awkward.

chances are if you ordered the glades, you may or may not get screwed on delivery or any refund if there is an issue.

just had an issue with them over a Christmas gift return....non responsive. will never ever consider doing anything with glades ever again.

I decided that the bolt knob is just a tad too big in proportion to the rifle and handle, so off to EBAY and $15 later
