Rifle Scopes New build. Spend my money.

Hey guys. I’m throwing together a 6mm Creed build. Target mostly but might lug it to a deer stand here and there. Tikka action, Proof barrel, CTR stock to start and then Whiskey 3. I need a scope. I will shoot this rifle at all distances but want to be equipped for 1k+.

My experience with rifles is in lighter hunting setups, all of which wear Nightforce NXS 2.5-10 MOAR. Large mag, heavy scopes are foreign to me.

Money is not a consideration but I don’t want to light it on fire if I don’t need to. If a scope is objectively better, I will buy it. I’m looking at:

ATACR 5-25
Khales 525 and 624’s
S&B’s
ZCO

My priorities are, in order

Zero retention
Tracking
RTZ
Durability
Glass/optics
Looking cool AF

Pick any scope from the ones listed with the reticle you find best and you should be good to go.

These lists and “help me” threads make absolutely no sense when people say “money is not a consideration.” It’s been said over and over the two top tier scopes are Tangent Theta and ZCO. Pick the reticle you like and move on.

Ok from the list of scopes you want. Returning to zero or tracking shouldn’t be an issue they are all great scopes and never had problems with any of mine. I have Schmidt’s ZCOs and ATACRs. I’ve played around with my friends kahles and I don’t think it’s worth what it’s listed for. Schmidt’s I don’t like there turrets at all and their reticle options aren’t that great. Nightforce turrets are awesome cuz you have the .5 after every mil and their mil-xt reticle is awesome. Highly recommend it for competition use. ZCOs are good too but I like the mil-xt reticle way better than the mpct2 and hate the tactical vagina on the mpct3. Also the ZCO reticles are pretty thick compared to mil xt. And the locking turrets are really pointless in my opinion. Other than that good scope. On glass I really can’t tell the difference. Between them. You might see some differences on full power but shooting competitions you don’t use full power. You can’t go wrong with the atacr. Wouldn’t even look at the Schmidt’s or the kahles. If your considering spending this much. Check out tangent thetas. Awesome scope

Everything you listed was top notch. All of those optics are going to have great glass. I would see what reticle you favor and which turrets you prefer and get it. Nice choices on components
