New Cerakote Paint Job

Wanted to make my duty rifle a little more hide-able than it was stainless and tan so I had it Cerakoted. Barreled action and rings along with trim are done in Mil-Spec Green and base coat of stock, bolt, UNS, and scope base are done in Highland Green. Camo pattern consists of 5 different colors and a fern stencil combined with 4 different leaf stencils.

Just have to cover the cheek piece with Rhino-Liner and ill be finished.
And yes, I upgraded to the new PDC ambidextrous cheek piece.

It's a PDC Customs Gen-1 stock. 14 pounds rigged and loaded 10-rd mag...

Is the rail on the front necessary? Just curious. perhaps to shave off bit more weight up front?

I dont use the rail for anything except hanging camo from....Works well for that.... All aluminum so weight is minute....

I dont have the rail on my Gen2 stock but the profile of the Gen2's are much more traditional. With the box forend of the Gen1, I like the way it finishes the rifle....
