New CZ 457 Varmint 22LR seems to take more than normal force to close bolt on a round

Been a while since I've close a bolt on a 22LR round. My CZ 452 I had a few years ago was the last I remember of. Haven't tried any match ammo yet. I've fired CCI Standard Velocity, some old Remington Sub Sonic, and some of the old Gemtech. Could be just me I'm used to chambering my center fire reload rounds for a good while now. Thanks

Try extracting one of each type and see how much engraving is being done on the driving bands.
