This is a 2 day course designed for the scoped carbine/AR15 rifle. Optimal set up would be a barrel length of 18” or greater and scope with Mil/MOA reticle and maximum magnification range between 10-16.
The course will cover firearms safety, fundamentals of marksmanship, ballistics, and target engagements to 800 yards. Students will also receive instruction on utilizing hold overs, wind reading, range estimation, and moving target engagement. Students can expect to shoot from a wide variety of obstacles utilizing the entire K&M Shooting Complex, taking full advantage of our 12 plus ranges.
As with all K&M courses, we promote a friendly and professional environment that puts the new shooter at ease. We specialize in making you comfortable while giving you the best learning environment possible. Students that complete the course will have a basic proficiency in firearm safety, marksmanship fundamentals, a combined knowledge of their personal capabilities with their equipment, and systematic methods for future progression.
