I have been reading a lot on this forum as a non-member and finally decided to register.
I've been interested in guns since I can remember. I think it started with the 1993 edition of the gun digest which my dad had bought at that time, which I enjoyed reading for several years until I discovered the Magnum magazine. I have joined a firearm collectors association as I have a serious interest in long range shooting and thus I would like to collect firearms that fall into a sniper rifle category. So far I've only got a pistol in 40S&W but I am inheriting 3 rifles from my dad one day. The first is a 5,6x57 (this one is my favorite), 7x64 and a 9,3x62 all of them built on K98 actions.
Anyway, so my interests are hunting, shooting in general, camping, offroad 4x4, fly fishing, sketching, hiking, pretty much anything to do with the outdoors and then I play the piano and drums and I am currently a student at Stellenbosch University, doing my final year in electric and electronic engineering.
That's my intro, looking forward to meeting some likeminded folks and also learning a lot from the pro's.
