Hey guys, I've been lurking around here and there. Thought I would at least join up to be able to say thank you to all those that have posted helpful information and continue to learn from everyone.
I suppose a brief biography is in order: Served 5 years in the USAF from 98-2003, during that time I was all over, Afghanistan, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Germany, Italy, Portugal. Never got into the thick stuff, sporadic small arms fire while I was in Kandahar is about it.
After seperation I moved to Las Vegas for a full time firefighter job. It's where I still live and work. Now I'm 34 with a wife, three kids, a dog and a cat. Living the dream. Recently decided to start learning longer range shooting and increase my gun collection with a cross platform .223 Mossberg MVP (I really dig the fact it takes AR mags). So far I haven't had an opportunity to shoot beyond 250 yds, but it was fun and accurate at that distance, hoping to get out soon to try for 350 or longer (500 by spring is my goal).
