Hey folks,
Not really a "sniper"... Just an old guy with a question. I have a 1937 Savage Model 99 lever action that was passed down to me as a family heirloom. The receiver has become pitted and the spent casings are very hard to extract. Would it be feasible to replace / sleeve the barrel and re-chamber the 300 Savage? Or am I dreaming... Please let me know what the cost of such a job would be, Who could do the job, and if it's even possible. I live out in Acme WA. 98220
Thanks,
Dave.
