Realized I never made a proper introduction post
Relatively newbie to shooting, been around a year now. The collection has started growing, to the dismay of my wallet. I've been collecting/building "practical" guns like a G19, 1911, and a AR, but long range rifles are the first addition that I'm ok with babying around a bit.
Have a T3x as my current project gun, and a T1x to make the ammo cost hurt a bit less (and to mook around with wind holds!)
The math has been really interesting to me, being mechanically minded. I don't reload (yet), but I like to do some theorycrafting on the Strelok app on my phone. I think it's really interesting to plug in cartridges and see how they stack up to each other at range (granted it all needs to be verified, but it's cool seeing roughly how different .223/.308's flight profiles are or .50BMG/.338LM and other calibers I can only dream of owning at the moment). Mils have also been fun to learn and use.
Getting into 3D Printed stuff has also been a long term goal. I do a fair amount of CAD work for my job, just never applied it to anything I do at home (too sleepy after work). I'm a bit apprehensive of the FDM stuff, but I can see myself really getting into it whenever desktop SLS cost starts coming down.
