New Accuracy International Gen 3 ATX rifles in DE. In conjunction with Black Canyon Customs I am offering just 4 of these new rifles in 6.5 PRC at the moment. Bolt faces are opened up and barrels are spun up in 6.5PRC. These barrels are on Bartlein Blanks. MTU Contour, 5r rifling, 7.5t, black cerakote. Barrel will have proper markings. 5/8x24 threads. THIS IS NOT A FACTORY AI OFFERING. These are brand new Gen3 ATX guns that have been converted to magnum bolt face. Mags will be 7rd PRC/WSM Accurate Mags. Barrels will finish at 24 inches unless buyer specifies in the next 7 days (Sat the 25th is the deadline) Max Length is 28". Shortest Length is 18 inches. (Just to be clear here, the factory bolt is being opened up. No extra bolts are included. Rifle will ship with one bolt assembly, one barrel, one magazine, as a complete 6.5PRC rifle only)

Wish I was in the market, I love the idea of short mag in an AI, I’d do the 6.5 PRC and then spin up a 7 SAUM and maybe even a 300 WSM just for fun. The AI quick switch barrel design is the best out there.

Thanks. Lot of guys I shoot with now exclusively use Fritz for their work. Here is the last one he just did for me turning this AT into a Mag Bolt face bolt with 20" 300 WSM Carbon Bull barrel.

Quick update on these barrels. They are 7.5 Twist. Not 8s. Bartlein barrel chips / cut off end with info and serial, will ship with the rifle.

Any chance you could post a pic of the bolt and bolt face? And are three wrench flats on the barrel?

No wrench flats on the barrels. That could be added if someone would like it down the road but it just drives up cost that would be passed on.

Bolt faces are opened up and only "skimming" the bluing off the face to not change head spacing if folks elected to use prefits down the road. We took as little off the face as possible to keep that factory head spacing perfect. You can see just slight color on the face if that indicates how precise this cut was to keep that tollarance. All of the bolts do show some factory imperfections in the face and if we took it down far enough to clean all those out 100% it would change headspaceing for prefits. We elected to just skim the face and maintain factory headspace as a priority. I'm pleased with the results.

Extractor spacers are machined and press fit into the bolt body. There is also other slight extractor work to let it clear the lugs when it's coming over the case head when camming over.
