New guy checking in from Nebraska

Hey guys, been into shooting and shooting sports my whole life, I like to shoot everything but AKM type rifles are my favorite to play with (I know, I know, the exact opposite of precision ).
I enjoy hunting with my bow, rifle, shotgun and pistol. I live in between Omaha and Lincoln but have a lot of open land near the top of the state, and recently I have taken an interest in long range precision shooting.
I would like to pick up a rifle in 6.5 creedmoor or one of the magnum calibers and start playing at 1000 yards with you guys. Awesome website here with tons of great info, thanks guys!

Welcome Southpaw! I inherited some southpaw rifles a couple a years back. I haven't been on the Hide long enough to put them up for sale yet. My experience with the 1000BR crowd taught me a lot but not everything. Reading the wind is what I lack the most but I've already learned some good information. Though this bunch is pretty good, you still need to sort the nuggets from the B.S.
