New guy here from Richmond, BC. I’ve been shooting less than three years and I still don’t really know what I’m doing behind a rifle.
My wife got me my first bolt action rifle for my birthday/Christmas and I thought I was going to be the international sniper. That dream soon dissolved a few months ago when I entered my first shooting competition (not with the bolt action, but with the work rifle from my part-time job) . I was quickly advised that my participation would not be required for the remainder of the year and I would be free to try out for the team next year.
Haha, I’m not exactly sure this is the right forum for me as I’m not very good in math, geometry, or physics. I don’t have a lot of patience, and I’m not very smart so it takes me FOREVER to learn new things, however I have a fascination for firearms so I’m not giving up just yet. Anyway, hope to learn a thing or two here, and hope some of your knowledge will sink in somehow.
