Well, the names I wanted were taken already. Show up early or tough stuff I guess. Used the same one I use for the 2nd gen camaro forum.
I'm gettin' old. I like old guns but will shoot most anything. I used to hunt every chance but down here in the flat lands hunting the way I like is pretty much limited.
I shoot at Black Creek Range when I get the chance (need to make chances more often).
I've got bolt actions and semi-autos and except for the FAL its 100% American. M1917's, Springfields, M1's, 1911, etc.
Went to an Appleseed with my youngest son about 3 years ago and he had so much fun I decided to become an instructor. I've sort of stopped that now. Getting older has put a stop to that though. Between my increasingly bad knees, feet and back (broken leg, sprained ankles, chipped bones, knee surgeries, etc) two days on my feet equals a lot of pain and a couple of days to recuperate. Getting older has also reduced my patience with politics and BS and those get in the way of the fun Appleseed used to hold for me, too.
Anyway, I like to shoot. I like to hit what I shoot at. An accurate rifle beats the heck out of one that isn't, etc., etc.
Just looking forward to learning/sharing as the opportunities come up.
