Anyway, I'm a long time reader of the site and I've learned a lot. Thanks for the great resource. I have been spending more time lately on the site and using the classifieds so I figured it was time to sign up and make it official.
I've been hunting and shooting for most of my life; always had an interest in firearms. More recently I've become interested in long range and precision shooting. Currently I'm trying to better wrap my head around ballistics, ranging, and using a mil reticle and turrets (the finer details of shooting things that are far away).
There is plenty of open space in south east Utah for target practice. There's also descent big game hunting - mulies, elk, and pronghorn - though drawing a tag for the better stuff is usually the biggest challenge.
