Hey there!

I just got into long range shooting this year, having only shot to 100 yards prior to 2024. Started reloading a couple months ago as well!

I shot my first PRS match over the summer in Gagetown and had a ton of fun, even though it took me a couple weeks to process all of the information I was presented with.

Current rifles:

Savage axis 2 precision 6.5cm w/ vortex viper pst 2
Savage 110 tactical 308 w/ cabelas covenant 7.

Loving the sport so far and looking forward to being a part of this community - I've been lurking as a nonmember for a while and got a ton of info from the sidelines.

Cheers!

Welcome. There’s lots to learn on the hide and lots of bs also lol. Spent a week in Nova Scotia last summer. First time back since 2009. Saw Jerry sienfeld at the citadel and visited the area around wolfville and did some killer runs out on cape split. I remember seeing a rifle range off the side of the highway coming out of Halifax if I remember correctly. Love it up there. Bringing the mountain bike with me next time.

Welcome to the Hide.

Speaking of, my brother lives in Maine. Previously, he was living in New Hampshire.

He was a truck driver for a long time. He had an overload permit to transport timber from Nova Scotia. Sometimes, in order to secure a load of timber, you need one more on the trailer, which can sometimes put over the GVW limit. He also had certification in doubles, triples. But he got out of that after a while and has not looked back.

He still lives in Maine, though.
