Hey guys, I'm new here. Thought I'd post up some hunting pics for the heck of it. Getting geared up for Deer and bear season right now.

Well not many people eat carp. We do it to get them out of local lakes where they are not wanted and also for just plain FUN! It's like carp were made to be shot.
You can use them for fertilizer or give them to Asians, they seem to be pretty gratefull when you give them fish. You can also use them for a bait pile for predator hunting.

It is good to see more CA folks out enjoying hunting. I recently moved to OC, pretty close to you. I usually travel back to Oklahoma each year to hunt whitetails but it is just too expensive this year. I am trying my luck at some CA mulies this year in zone D7 (family up there). It will be my first attempt at deer hutning in CA. I spent my last 6 years in San Diego living in Pacific Beach. What area do you deer hunt in SD?

I have pig hunted in Monterey and San Luis Obispo counties. I grew up in Bakersfield so I am very familiar with Tejon Ranch. It is very pretty up there but it seems to cost a lot to hunt.

Anyway...welcome to the hide. It's always good to see more people on here. If you ever want or need a hunting/fishing/shooting partner feel free to PM me. I will be glad to do what I can.

Hey T-Money, I deer hunt in SD around Julian when I can draw the G13 tag for that area. Otherwise I hunt LPNF or ANF with OTC tags. Tejon is not too bad for pigs. They charge $450 for a weekend hunt, 2.5 days.
I'm gearing up for Deer and Bear right now. I have an Archery Deer tag this year.
