Hello all,
My name is John from the red dirt state of Oklahoma.
I've been lurking the forum here for quite awhile and appreciate the vast amount of information sharing. A bit about me, I would say while I am familiar with firearms I am by no means an expert and have a lot to learn. When I was a kid I shot quite frequently with my dad, but haven't been a range regularly since then. The funny thing about getting older is learning how much you don't know. A couple years ago my father passed away and it really made me think about the times being alone one on one with him at the range. Those are years of experience that while maybe I didnt fully appreciate back then I have come to realize just how wonderful it was and how much I learned and developed in general from those outings together. I have kids now too but very young and I hope to one day be able to provide them the same type of life lessons. Whether its nostalgia or not I have recently taken a much deeper interest in shooting again. I have a lot of questions but I will continue to search the forums for insights.
Thanks in advance for the warm welcome and stay safe!
