Is the any plan for a Ruger society that takes stanag magazines instead of AICS magazines? I would love to get this stock for my sons Ruger American. 350 Legend but it uses AR mags.

We do not have plans to offer this to accept AR magazines, however, we do offer our LSS-XL Gen2 in the Ruger American SA AR inlet, that uses AR style magazines, as long as your rifle came from the factory with AR or mini 30 magazines.

I have that on my rifle but in 30 degree winter that metal gets very cold

It will work with both action screw spacing like the Oryx.

we do offer our LSS-XL Gen2 in the Ruger American SA AR inlet, that uses AR style magazines, as long as your rifle came from the factory with AR or mini 30 magazines.

This chassis worked great with my Ruger American 450BM which came with Ruger's mag (not AR or Mini 30). I dropped that action along with a 458SOCOM barrel into an LSS-XL Gen 2 Ruger American SA AR and it functions great
