Patent Pending. Prototype Pictured.
Tired of the usual silly games, silly props, and silly rules? Match Directors who stiffle innovation by limiting gear? You know, you've been there, a match director who thinks a Practical/Tactical match should be more of the same of Olympic Freestyle, Palma, Service Rifle, etc. You know these guys, the same ones who hate that you use a Bag or Tripod, and think the only gear you should be allowed to use is a sling?
Well, we just turned their world upside down!
Introducing a rifle stock that has a (name yet to be determined) built into the forearm of the rifle. Works much like a support bag, but it is permanently attached to the forearm. So when the match director says "No Bags", you're good to go as this new stock has a novel feature build into it. Not called a "Bag" as it is a permanent part of your stock, much as other innovative things that are incorporated into other stocks by other companies like MPA, or other features like rubber or gel pads in some hunting stocks.
A new start-up manufacturing facility that will be incorporating this into just about any stock. Manners, McMillan, MPA, KRG, HS Precision, etc. Since they are a manufacturer, this will be considered a factory production stock, and cannot be banned or prohibited in PRS competition. Their on staff legal team indicates that a match director cannot ban or restrict a stock over another because of innovative features.
They are finializing the design to incorporate a shorter surface that can slide forward and aft on the forearm to allow attachment of other devices to the forearm, along with a permanently attached device that works much like a rear support bag (also patent pending).
Stocks will initially be made to order, and after a short time, they will accept stocks from individuals for modifications.
Stay tuned for further information. Not selling this product, nor mentioning the name of the company. Posting here only for discussion.
