A report from Reason reveals not a single New Jersey resident has surrendered their “high capacity” magazines to state police since the implementation of the magazine ban.
Breitbart News reported that New Jersey’s “high capacity” magazine ban took effect December 11, 2018, making the mere possession of such a magazine a fourth degree felony.
At first, the New Jersey State Police refused to rule out door-to-door enforcement of the ban, then made clear that they had no plans to go house-to-house.

Now, over two weeks since the ban took effect, the NJSP say no residents have surrendered their “high capacity” magazines.
According to Reason, NJSP Sgt. Jeff Flynn said “they have received ‘zero'” magazines as a result of the ban.
On December 15, 2018, former NYC police commissioner Bernard Kerik blasted the magazine ban because it also applies to off-duty police officers, too. In other words, off-duty officers cannot legally use magazines holding more than 10 rounds while off the clock.
Kerik said, “NJ Governor @GovMurphy is endangering the life of every off duty NJ cop! Gang bangers, drug thugs and really bad guys don’t give a damn about magazine capacity… So he takes the good guy’s ammunition, and the bad guys are loaded for bear!”

The registration for NY SAFE was some ridiculously low number. I'm happy to see this as well.

Like I've said before, the sonner we take on the same approach as liberals and illegals do, with flaunting how they don't care about the rules and 'what are you going to do about it', the sooner this knee jerk reactionary bullshit of gun control goes away.

I don't want to discuss 'gun control'.

Interesting how he makes this argument on behalf of LE who can't have high standard capacity magazines, but not for law abiding citizens.

Just goes to show what the intent of the law is . It's to make law abiding citizens criminals . The State assumes that no one sold , transferred to another State , pinned or modified their mags . Just talked to a guy at the range yesterday that said he is originally from Pa. and is storing his 15 rounders with family in Pa. . If all the gun owners become criminals then the State can seize all of the guns .

This just goes to show you that there just isn't a whole lot of high-capacity magazines in New Jersey.

The same is true for bump-stocks. There was never a a big interest in them in the first place so there isn't a lot of them around.

You can look way back to prohibition. We didn't have a lot of people drinking alcoholic beverages.

These laws don't hurt anyone cause 99.9999% of the people don't have them.

Our government can rest easy. Everyone is going to obey the law.

You said it! That's what I've been saying! The whole Starbucks ordeal a while back? It happened when one guy open carrying went into a store and a "concerned citizen" called the cops. Cops came in and guy knew his rights, but basically was told by cops "do it or else". Sound was recorded. Next day, several guys showed up, all open carrying, and made it a big ordeal that made the news. Same cops that were willing to fuck with one guy weren't so quick to confront the whole group. It's obvious why they were there. That went over well and it actually worked. Deputies got a memo reminding them what the carry laws were and that it's not their job to make shit up or interpret law.

Marijuana was made legal here because people just started doing it mass numbers. It simply couldn't be stopped, the resources didn't exist.

So I'm glad to see NJ doing this, but something tells me it has more to do with apathy. I surely hope I'm wrong about that.

But waiting for govt. to act and do the right thing just doesn't work. It doesn't. Doing it anyway in great numbers does.

These devices are not as prevalent as people would have us believe.

In MA only three bump stocks existed based on turn in mandate response.

Im guessing Jersey has no high cap mags despite believing they existed there.

Unfortunately I think this will bolster the case against "In common use" as applied by Miller doctrine and perhaps it could lead to SCOTUS saying "Well no one owns them so its okay to ban them"

Time to go feed my unicorn.

Where/when can I place an order for 1 million jars of rainbow farts? I'll bring the trucks and drivers to take care of shipping.

I plan to sell them to the statist supporters as 100% organic non-GMO happy vapor so they can get their hands the fuck off of our guns.

Governor Phil Murphy was a fairy dancer his entire life, did he serve of course he did ,he serviced 12" BBC to pay for his dancing lessons in school.Illegal alien murdered 4 students and Murphy stated that he would have the back of the illegal alien. He set up millions in funds to pay for lawyers to protect the illegal aliens.MS13 is now moving into NJ due to the protection provided by Murphy, people will be murdered due to his liberal progressive ideology. For some reason New Jersey always elects flamers for governor like McGreevey and Murphy .

Good, I hope they continue to have not one single person turn them in.

The statists failed big time with their latest stunt. Even the NY SAFE Act can be considered a failure because so few folks complied and turned shit over. Lots of ghost AR's floating around out there. But unlike ghosts, if the situation turns really bad in the future these AR's are gonna make a sure impact.

Let the results of the Jersey magazine ban be a little wakeup call to statists and their supporters to what happens when you tread upon a very sensitive aspect of many folks' lives.

Exactly!

That is what they are counting on.

The enemies of freedom in this country and around the world are playing the long game and have for decades.
Too few of those that fight for freedom fully understand this & even fewer are able to counter with their own long term plans.

The Communists want everyone disarmed. They can wait for your children or grandchildren to willingly become slaves & disarm themselves if they have to. The communists control education and popular media in this country and have for decades. That lets them have a sure hold on corrupting the future to their own ideas.

Which is why you always have a decoy "hide" filled with fakes, or a high velocity expansion suprise. Good for ferreting out rats.
And another reason why you don't trust children easily, children make the best tools for Communists, National Socialists & other similar types. Too easily swayed by propaganda and no real experience to base their beliefs on. They make easily mind controlled stooges doing what they are told is all for the best... Unless the children are actually in the ghettos with you and have grown up with a vicious hatred of the same people you hate.

Even then, the problem is that very few people don't have some "price" or some "leverage" that can be used to extract information from them, especially if it's just giving up someone else or something someone else has.

One of my favorite TV shows of all time are those Chinese serials of the war against the Japanese invaders. The prevalent thing that links all of those movies is how the partisans weed out the rats.

They would deliberately give false info about the location of an ammo stash or the whereabouts of a high profile leader. And when the enemy finds out about the supposedly "secret" information and acts upon it, the partisans would trace the leak back to the faulty spigot and light his ass up. It sometimes takes more than a couple of tries because they got to ID the right person before making a hit, but in the end, that tactic ALWAYS worked.

Passive defiance does not do well in the end. Politicians will still be chipping away at things...constitution be damned. They just wipe their asses with it when they take a shit in the morning.

Blue sky, excellent article !!! Do you have a link to those movies ?

It's only a matter of time before the ninja's go into someones house for some magazines, it will be interesting to see what happens. All this talk of noncompliance is great, but what are they going to do when leo comes to their house ????

It may be interesting to see people who have "cops" as friends get ratted out or not.

It may be interesting to see people who have "cops" as friends get ratted out or not.

Moving away from hypothetical to actual current events, It's less likely that a "cop" who is your friend is the one ratting you out.
Most likely it's going to be your evil, plotting, soon be ex wife (or widow if she gets her way), or some other "family" member with an axe to grind (Usually a female or a male who might as well be a female).

That's why I usually say women as a general group have been a prime ally to the Communists / One World type / Democrats / Tyrants and SJW zealots. It's kind of in their genetic nature like it or not, and it's only the stronger women who can stand up to it forever.

So I'd advise that your inlaws & relatives would be the first to distrust, then your wife, then your kids if they are at all of the modern bratty type.

It's how the communists have always worked and how they always will.... get somebody from someone's own extended family to turn them in.

I got the links to only some of them. Most of these are reproduced on VCD for distribution here in the US. Everybody in my family loves these shows so I would go to Chinatown and pick up a few bundles of discs at the small alley shops for $1 per disc.

This one is one of the best made so far titled "The Battle of Changsha", biopic of the Central Field Group commanders and men at arms who defended the city of Changsha and it's castle from 1939-1940, during one of the largest Japanese offensives, and WON

English subtitles too:

Sundown At Coffin Rock apparently has a sequel too:

Didn't take that much Google-fu to find it. The author concluded his story with a (possible) ray of sunshine. But it leaves us asking: Does it really take a prolonged and terrible spell of cold and darkness before it compels someone to get off their ass, gather branches and build a damn campfire? Because it is going to take A LOT of repeated and serious fucking up on our part to reach the level of society that this story is portraying.

I just hope and pray that we, in real life, will start TAKING ACTION long before shit starts to fall. Otherwise, all those folks who died under state oppression in the past would have died in vain.

The numbers NY issued for compliance are inflated. I knew of quite a few people who registered the make, model and serial numbers to their DVD players, refrigerators, PlayStations, and other items with serial numbers. It was their attempt to gum up the works. But I’m sure the state kept those PlayStation15’s on the list because that’s one more person they can cite that “complied” with the law.

Man, that is some epic shit right there...
No better way of telling the statists to BUTT OUT than something like that.

If even 10% of the state's population does this at once, it would mess up their entire records and operational system.

Fuck those who want to infringe upon our rights.

Bite off more than you can chew and chew like hell, that's pretty much your only option at that point. I'd never hurt anyone unless I really had to, but if the government starts coming into houses to jack otherwise law-abiding gun owners you can believe I won't play that shit fair when it's my turn.

They don't have to do raids, they can just figure out if you have whatever item and then fine you. When the fines have taken your driver's license and they reach a large enough amount to imprison you they will do so, but they'll still be able to play coy little good guy because they're not locking you up for maintaining your constitutional rights but instead for not paying fines. They will just take any single need from which you are alienated and twist it with penalties upon penalites until you comply.

Seriously, if any LEO is getting put up to such a bullshit task they need to take a serious look at how much they give a damn about otherwise peaceful gun owners, because things will start trending fucking badly fucking quickly across the board. Nobody wants shit to go down that way, even though I don't think it will.

resentment and hatred grows. the fuse burns.

Its ridiculous LEO in NY and a few other Yank states are exempt from weapons and high cap mag bans and can own suppressors while the common citizen cant. of course they dont give a shit about peoples rights. If they lose their rights too theyll give a shit.

All to common in places of oppression.
Any minor study of history shows the end result of these policies.

The voices of experience speak to us in warning. Do we listen?

And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?… The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If…if…We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation
