Hi all. Just wanted to show off my new light it up!

If you want to see how it works and general updates I have on the kit (how to assemble, field testing experience, etc.), check out the Instagram account I made: https://www.instagram.com/light_it_up_fiber_optic?igsh=MWNzbHV6eGJkMjR0cw==&utm_source=qr

This is a great little product. Easy install with the most basic mechanical aptitude. Obviously I haven’t put it in use yet, but I like it on the kitchen table. Shooting a match tomorrow, we will see if it makes a difference.

No interference with the throw lever or Tenabrex caps.

Last weekend I finally tested Kyle’s creation and I love it! It’s exactly as a light relocator should be: simple, elegant and effective!
Assembling the Light it up! is pretty easy, if you are a perfectionist as I am it could take some patience and time, but you can tailor it to your rifle as you like. All pieces are well made and very precise, everything clicks in place and stays there with no need for glue or modifications of any kind (the velcro strap in my photo is temporary, just to shape the cables closer to the ocular, I forgot to remove it before taking the photo).
Once installed, it looks great. Very minimalist, no permanent changes to either send it or scope, quick to remove if needed, and most important it keeps all 5 lights very visible in every condition!

The lights are very bright and visibile, I shot a match last weekend and I wouldn’t have changed anything. It works to perfection! Probably a coincidence, but I shot my best match of the season 😁

Last but not least, a huge thank you to Kyle, he’s such a nice guy! He sent me a few kits to Italy, adding more spare parts than I paid for. Quick to respond to my questions, quick to ship my order, very kind and friendly. It was a real pleasure Kyle, hope to meet you at the range one day, I owe you one!

Fabio,

I really appreciate the kind words. I am so happy you like the kit. If you need anything don’t hesitate to reach out.

I don't wanna be a negative Nancy, but JFC this is a wildly over-complicated and expensive solution to a problem that hardly exists

Do we really need 4 large caliber wires coursing under our tube to tell if we're level? What ranges are you guys shooting at that you need that kind of precision?

It's not about precision, it's about expediency. An accelerometer doesn't need much if any time to settle vs a bubble level. A light going off at your ocular is also blatantly obvious and easier than shifting focus to a bubble. Having a level at all is necessary when you're in 10 different positions on 10 different props in under 2 minutes. If you're not shaving seconds off, I get it.

Fair enough. The send it is nice because it is very intuitive to see level on the clock when your mind is on a bunch of other stuff. Putting those lights right in your FOV makes it that much easier to be conscious of level without extra effort.

It definitely is a little bit of clutter, but with a careful install, you can mostly keep it out of the way:
