I recently found your podcast and have been listening when I get a chance. I'm starting right from the beginning, so it may take a bit to get caught up ?

I haven't done any long range shooting except for qualification in the Army.

I just acquired a Winchester model 75 Target .22lr and was wondering if you think that would make a good platform for learning the basics. I don't know if you've touched on it in the show, hence the question. If you've already covered rimfires, just let me know and I'll try and find it.

Thanks in advance.

22'S are great trainers, you can use them shorter but they mimic the performance of a longer range. Example on a recent episode Lowlight said that his 22 at 200 yards mimicked his 6.5 Creedmoor at 1000. I've been on the lookout for a Remington 40x for a while and now am considering a voodoo 22 just for the training benefits.
