New lower

I'm looking for another lower for my .223 SBR build. I've got Next Generation and a DPMS but I'm looking for something different this time. I really like the Seekins lower but they're a bit expensive. Anybody got a suggestion?

DPMS, Bushmaster, Rock river, Olympic,etc. there all the same with a different brand engraved in the side.

If you want something "different" Glen has some pretty awesome stuff.

Our new lower will have the AMBI bolt release on it. The Spikes billet uppers and lowers are ours, just marked for spikes.

Head Down Products, has billet uppers and lowers available. They are made in Ga and can be had in dark earth and black.

try the JD machine ones or the mega lowers. there is a group buy on the JD sets and i think a few left.

but id spend the money on a seekins

I just picked up a couple POF lowers for some builds Im working on.

I love the gen III lower

Mega machine can be had for a $100 and the machining and finish is very nice

Smith and Wesson lowers are really nice as well.

I have bilt a few off of Sun Devil Manufacturing lovers, and have been very pleased! Check them out.

My 3Gun rifle has a C3 billet lower that I got off a prize table about two years ago: This Model . So far, I don't really have any complaints. I do have one mil spec mag that is too tight a fit but the rest and my Black Dog conversion mags work just fine. My guess was that the tolerances for mags isn't as precise as the tolerances used by C3. The tension screw is a nice touch and does a good job eliminating play between the upper and lower. Some day I might switch out the upper for a billet but for now I'm pleased with the rifle.

Anybody had any issues with using a billet lower with a non-billet(forged)upper?

I seem to be taken with the Mega billet lowers but I'm still looking too.
