I own a media company, a company (NOT MDT, a rifle builder) ordered these for a photoshoot we were supposed to do. They went bankrupt and paid me in chassis/parts.

NO, the seller is a scammer. They used the same username they have on here for their PayPal. I'm assuming there is no way to get money back from PayPal fraud for F&F.
PST42 and Gentleman4561 are probably the same scammer.

Damn. @Gentleman4561 has been on here for 14yrs. Maybe his account got hacked. Did you message him, or did he message you?

Yeah man. Pretty sure the OP is not the one that took your money. Scammers are good. Sorry they got you. Look at the profile...date joined, messages, etc. of the person that messaged you and compare it to the OP.

It was the same name with the same picture. It looks like it is a different name than the Luke Crawford that is under his picture on here. The PayPal email request came back to a James Terrell.

Post a screenshot of the guy who requested your payment. After you click on the screen name

Just trying to help you sort things out. Sucks if you got scammed. Scammers will typically see your “I’ll take it” then head off the seller with a similar name


I’d hate to see a good seller (if this is the case) get accused of scamming. Especially when there’s a report of them being good to go above. Also could have been hacked

If you got had and it turns out to not be the OP here and you didn’t do your homework then you’ll likely be banned instead just fyi. So let us help you figure it out before it gets that far

It’s not typical of a scammer to have this amount of positive feedback and activity here.

Make sure you report the fake account and not the real one here. The mods will axe it. Just make sure they don’t axe the legit account here

No it wasn’t. It was Kmdn__crew who had zero posts and was not a supporter who scammed you. Putting a @ in front of a name just highlights and tags the user. Same name. You were scammed because you posted in a PX thread and a scammer jumped in. Never post in a PX thread. PM the seller directly. Never send money to someone who isn’t a supporter and has zero posts. Slow down and look next time. Sorry you lost the money but use it as a learning experience. Again never post in a PX post!

Yup small groups are easy to run but this site is far from small and been around for decades. Even here posting that doesn’t trump anything. The seller can sell to who he wants. You don’t win by posting first.
