Hello folks,
I'd like to introduce myself, I'm both a new member here from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area, and the new Programs Manager for Tactical Night Vision Company. I'm happy to be joining the Sniper's Hide community, and I look forward to connecting with the members here, and hopefully I can be of some help to some of the members here!

Bio:
Augustine "Augee" Kim is a combat arms veteran with multiple deployments during GWOT, and has spent much of his adult life working with visual augmentation, surveillance, and target engagement systems, ranging from individual NVDs to vehicle platform-mounted fire control and surveillance systems.
A 2006 graduate of The Citadel, Augee was commissioned into the South Carolina Army National Guard and deployed to Afghanistan in 2007 as Cavalry Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition (RSTA) Platoon Leader, spending much of that time in the dark, looking at the world in shades of green and gray. Since then Augee has specialized in low-light/night operations and combined arms integration and tactics and has been chosen to work in numerous joint, multi-national, and multi-agency environments. In 2010 he was embedded as a Liaison Officer with a joint SOF unit and involved in the fielding of NVDs to Afghan SOF participating in coalition direct action missions. He has also been involved in the planning and execution of joint operations between U.S. special operations, aviation, conventional forces and domestic law enforcement, as well as being assigned as a Detachment Operations Officer (S3) to a NATO multi-national unit. Augee has also served as a Tank Platoon Leader, Plans Officer, and Infantry Heavy Weapons Company Commander.
Augee holds a BA in History, and an MA in English Literature from the College of Charleston, and was awarded a research fellowship to pursue his Ph.D. at West Virginia University, and has worked as a consultant, lecturer, author. His work as a small arms historian and researcher with an emphasis in military use of the M16 and its derivatives was featured in Larry Vickers’ popular VickersGuide AR15 books to which he was a contributor.
