Hey all, my name is Rob. I’ve been working in law enforcement past 8 years before that I was in the Marines and then the national guard as an officer.
So I’ve working on a rifle build for awhile now.
Action-ruger hawkeye
Barrel- Lilja 30in stainless steel fluted 1-10” twist
Stock-undecided
Glass- Burris xtr 3-12x50 mildot reticle
Lower metal pacific tool and gauge detachable msg conversion
Trigger-undecided ( have gunsmith clean up stock or get single stage timney)
My goal- build an accurate big boom stick!
I plan on reloading 300 grain Maximus mainly. However I do want to try the 350 grain smk and the 390 grain hornady a tips.
Could I build a rifle that shoots cheaper ammo and more “practical “ sure but this is America
!!!
