Hi guys, I am a retired cop and US Army vet (Active Duty 1980-1985) and USAR - Iraq 2004 - 2005. I do not have a lot of long range shooting experience or any formal sniper training - Though I have shot my rifle out to 1,000 this summer with someone else calling the wind and adjustments for me. I'm here to listen and learn.

welcome! you are in the right state to shoot some long distance. Lots of good resources on snipers hide. the stickeys are good here. I recommend any book by Bryan Litz if you want to know why you didn't hit the target on the first shot way out there. I have learned a lot here and most of the time if i have a question someone else has answered it if i look in the search. have fun and spend lots of money on ammo
