Hello everyone! My name is Dan, I was born and raised in Connecticut but I now live in Knoxville, Tennessee. I Served 4 years in the Corps as a forward observer/JFO, got out and started going to school. I have been reading these forums for a few years, mostly for reviews on glass and gear etc. I shoot competition occasionally, & about a year ago I had the pleasure of competing in a "sniper" match at my local range. I competed with my M1 Garand, and despite getting my butt kicked I had a lot of fun. However, after seeing what the other shooters were using I suddenly had a desire for a bolt-gun. I picked up a Remington 700 and I have been in debt up to my neck ever since!
I look forward to learning from everyone here, and I am grateful to have access to such a wide breadth of knowledge. I did poke through the forum stickys and didn't see too many hard and fast rules so I hope that I am not out of compliance in any way.
