Been pulling off this site for awhile and decided to become a member. Mainly just wanted to know if any one ordered or received on of the M24R from Remington. I learned on the M24 and loved it. I placed an order but Remington seems pretty backed up so I haven't got much feed back from them over the last 2 months.

I was going to place an order for an M24 when they first became available. I primarily wanted the gun for nostalgia purposes. I cut my teeth on the M21 but spent/still spend a lot of time with the 24. After a lot of thought I decided against ordering one. For the same price, I can have a smith build a brand new one for less money.
As a side note, we still have a few M24s here at work so I can get my fix when I need it.

We began turning our 24 a few months ago, mainly for services, and they decided to just give us M110's. Nice rifle and enjoyed the can that comes with each one. But definatly prefer the simplicity of the 24.
