Hi All,
Just joined this forum. I am from the Netherlands and currently live there though most of my youth was spent "abroad" due to my parents employment.
Whilst I had a lot of experience with firearms in my youth and early adulthood abroad, this came to an end when I moved back to the Netherlands late 20's. With a particular love for precision shooting at medium distance (300m to 700m). Long story short, firearm sports, usage, and ownership here in the Netherlands is heavily dissuaded by our government and it's a lengthy, costly and time consuming process, to be allowed to shoot and own a firearm.
That said last year I decided to pick up my "old hobby" again, and joined a competitive shooting club. In the Netherlands one has to either participate in Olympic competitive shooting competitions (through an accredited club) or hold a hunting license which comes with it's own certification.
As a result I am now shooting again and going through the process and administrative requirements required by law here.
Hoping to pick up lot's of knowledge tips and tricks here!
