Since you already are sophisticated enough to post an Avatar, you probably are familiar with the etiquette of forums such as this.
Go to the appropriate forum/section and search for the subject matter you have questions on and see if it isn't one which hasn't been beaten to death already. That way you won't post a question that is ignored or gets you pounced on!
Read, learn to use the search function (Ratbert provides a great search tool as well, so check him out) and then, when you ask a question, only assholes will attack you!
