I am wanting to start making plans for a Merriam Turkey hunt in New Mexico for next spring. I have been told of an Apache reservation where you pay a flat fee to hunt. Does anyone know anything about this. Thanks for your help! krw
could be the Jicarilla reservation there. Some of it is around Cuba, NM. Driven through it a lot going on hunting and fishing trips in NW New Mexico and SW Colorado
Many of the reservations in the state are doing hunts. Check out the Mescalero apache reservation I believe that they have a flat fee for turkey. Never hunted any of the reservations but have heard if you are willing to pay your chances of success are high.
