New MPA PMR Pro 6.5CM

Hey guys I'm putting together a new rig and I wanted to see what you guys think about the setup I choose.
MPA BA PMR Pro in 6.5 Creedmoor
Vortex Razor HD II 4.5-27x56 with the Tremor 3 reticle and mounting using an MPA BA Mount 34mm 1.125"
Accu-tac FC-4 Gen 2 Arca spec bipod
I'm going to be using the ultra bag rider from MPA with some AG bags. The ammo I'm primarily going to run is the Hornady 140gr ELD. If anyone has a similar setup I was wondering if the 4' sunshade that comes with the razor, as well as the defender scope caps, is this setup is going to be too long to keep the NV bridge? I have a few misc things on my shopping list but wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts on this setup.

Should be a good rifle. This may be a Ford vs. Chevy thing but I personally much prefer the Vortex EBR 7C reticle over any Tremor reticle. I have a scope with a Tremor2 reticle and it's in the box because I don't like the reticle.

I had to remove the Pic rail section of the NV bridge to use the sunshade on my 7-35 ATACR. Clears just fine now.

i've done the same and it works fine

if rather the ebr7c but if you'll use the tremor as intended it's fine i guess

You will like the rifle. It will shoot bugholes with the 140 elds. I dont run the sunshade on mine, and also took the nv rail off cause i just didnt like the look of it on there

Thanks for the answers guys. If I could ask another, what kind of velocity should I expect to see from this rifle in 6.5 CM with a 26” barrel using the Hornady 140g ELD match? A MagnetoSpeed V3 chronograph is on my list.

I'm at 2850 with 140s and 41.7gr H4350.

If I remember correctly getting 2850. Was getting 2880 in mine with 41.6 h4350 under 140 hybrids

I was at 2860 with factory hornady 140

But thats the exception not the rule. Expect 2700-2750

Thanks guys for that info. Do you guys think that the 20 MOA built into the base is enough for this combo to hit out to 1,000 with adjustment left over? The scope mount could add another 20 for 40 MOA total, but I was just going to go with the 20 base and 0 mount.

20 moa will easily Get to 1000
Probably more like 1500.

Unless your gonna drink the Hodnett cool aid save yourself some coin and grief and get the 7c

With that combo you will be fine out to 1k and more with plenty of room to go further.

what would be a good size for the bipod for this weapon system? Instead of the FC-4 I’m considering getting the Accu-tac SR-5 G2 or the BR-4 G2. Which of those two do you guys think will be a better fit for the MPA? SR-5 too big or BR-4 to small?

I have the accutac br4 on mine. It works very well with it
