Hi, all!

Just getting into long range shooting, i.e. over 600yds and with something other than iron sights. I've done some NRA high-power stuff with a NM AR15, now it's time to go to 1000.

I must say this site is chock full of info for a beginner! That will come in handy for this old fart.

Welcome I live in southern colorado. When ever you decide your comfortable enough to go do a shoot, NRA Whittington Center does a Sportsmans Shoot in Raton, Nm every month thru the months of Feb-sept and its a fun, and a great bunch of guys. Good luck!

Welcome. I love this forum. I'm in Greeley and am also new to long range, let me know if you ever want to shoot. I can usually find good spots out in the country.

There is a long range precision shoot at the Colorado rifle club monthly ( with a few exceptions) 16 targets that go out to 500 meters. They have quite a few actually different competitions, but they are all a bunch of solid guys. If you can make the drive it is a good time with a bunch of stand up people.
