I have found this forum so informative and really helped me to find the right rifle for my needs. Spent 16 years in the Corps, and have played mostly with semi-auto except for a handful of WWII bolt battle rifles.
I spent about 6 weeks researching here, watching gunbroker, seeing what is available locally and of course Texas Gun Trader.
My patience paid in spades. I picked this up from a former local pd sniper. Here’s the build list:
Blueprinted Remington 700P in 300WM bedded in an HS Precision stock.
Proof Sendero profile 24” 1:10T
Triggertech Primary
419 Hellfire
Seekins rail
Badger rings
Nightforce ATACR 5-25 MOAR
Harris bipod
80 rounds through the tube, I have yet to shoot it. Currently has dope setup with 200gr ELD out to 650.
Purchased as a hunting rig that will put just about anything down. Weights about 10.5 with scope. All in all I am quite pleased!
