Hey all, where I am from there is really no ranges to go shoot at long range. The longest range within three hours is 200 yards and to shoot farther than that I have to wait till a pasture is cleared where I practice out to 500 yards. Because of this I am considering buying land and building a nice 1000 yard rifle range not just for myself but an actual range (as to I want everyone to be able to shoot long range if they want) What type of legal actions need to be taken to open a range? Do you have to have a license? Any advice would be appreciated.
