bought a remi 700. 300win mag and had it customized a little by gaprecisions and would like to know what ammo would work best for this gun long range and hunting?

If reloading, would recommend the 208 AMAX pill with a pinch of RL22. They are great combo.
If manufacturer ammo, the heaviest ammo available that I am aware is the 190 SMK in either FGMM, or Black Hills, or HSM. Good luck. Reloading is going to be much cheaper in the long run.
