Hey guys, my name is Jack and I have just recently gotten into rifle shooting. I've been shooting shotguns competitively and for fun for many years, I own several pistols, and a couple rifles (1966 Marlin 336 30-30, a Savage model 99 .308, a Savage 17 HMR, Remington 700 .223 and a whole handful of 22's if they count). I've never really been into shooting rifles as I can only hunt deer with a slug gun in my area. I have killed many a groundhog with that .17 though. I just picked up the .223 and I am so far enjoying my time with the rifle. Anyway, I plan on learning lots from this forum!
