Hi all,

I'm going to pickup my TR today.

I had a question on which EGW 20MOA mount to buy. Is it the 1-3/8" or the 1-5/8" ejection port mount?

Also I plan on buying a Mueller APT scope with Burris XTR 30mm Medium rings. Should I go with the mediums or lows? I only plan on shooting 200yrds max.

Thanks

1 5/8" ejection port on the newer e receivers.

I have always used warne lows on egw 0moa and 20moa. I had an apt on a 20moa base with warne lows and I have warne lows on a viper with a 50mm objective now. I'm actually running some warne qd lows on a egw 30moa custom base with a 44mm objective (4-16x44), although the scope is compact and doesnt extend as far as the 20moa/50mm obj setup.

You need to first find out which type of reciever you have. FWIW, my TR is a year old and I didn't research this stuff when I bought it. I got the 1-5/8" base, when it should've been the 1-3/8"

As far as the rings go, I have a 42mm objective and it still has clearance with the Low rings. I bought mediums originally, but it was way too high for me.

The 1 3/8" base will still work on the 1 5/8" receiver but the relief cut for the ejection port won't line up. .22lr will still eject fine, the extended port is for the .22wmr length cases.
