Well, it comes in Friday actually. I am hoping it lives up to the hype. If I get it Fri. I am planning on going to the range on Sat. to test it out. I will post some thoughts/review after that. I am looking forward to it, I think its gonna be nice! It will eventually go on a Knights SR-25 EMC; which I think will be a perfect combination.

That new color code system is pretty cool-so- I guess the next thing from SWAV will be a BRAIL system. That's-ok with me cause I am BLIND up close-my-glasses are so thick the first time I went to buy a scope the man told me I shouldnt need one--anything SWAV could put on a scope would help me-now all I need is a good LONG range rifle.. bshooter..

Re: New Swav. Z6I

OK, well I got it and................ it rocks! I thought the Elcan 1-4 was slick. I sold my NF 1-4 after I got the Elcan but the Swav. Z6I- BRT- is the cats ass! just some playing around with so far; it has a huge field of view. Way better than either the NF or the Elcan and the eye relief is much more forgiving. The Elcan you have to collapse the stock all the way to get a proper eye relief and the Z6I; is probably 2-3 inches more eye relief. They are both true 1 power scopes so no issues there. Glass is a hard call. I will to test them out to get a true comparison. The Illumination is truly unique and it is very bright. I see no down side other than high price. I do not own a short dot, so I can not compare them. But, this blows away the NF, Leupold, (1.5-5)but it is twice the price.

I've always heard mixed views on Swaro scopes, some say they are awesome, some say they are way overpriced for the quality.I was looking at a Z5 with the ballistic turret but was talked out of it.

I am a huge Swarovski fan. Their LEO pricing is great. I have the Z6i which I use on my patrol rifle which is also my three gun stick. (Noveske N4 light carbine.)
