New Swiss K31 and k11 front sight

The EAS (Elevation Adjustable Sight) from Swiss Products will be available with the target side threaded to accept the Eagle Eye 1.5 front lens by the end of next week.
Eagle Eye 1.5x magnification lens (multi-coated)The Eagle Eye, or Adler Auge 1.5 Lens is meant to screw into the target side (front side) of your Diopter's front tunnel sight, opposite the Aperture Insert. This is a low magnification Lens that will make the visibility of the target itself more prominent appearing in your Iris.
Works extremely well for both young and older eyes. M.18 with 16mm lens diameter.

If you use the Aperture kit, you can remove your front sight blade and using the Post Aperture, the EAS will adjust to the same height as the blade was. Gives the shooter a much better target picture.

Would someone explain what exactly a 1.5 eagle eye does, does it clear up the target way out there making it more distinct or the does it clear up the front sight itself?

And does it work with an adjustable aperture on the rear sight?

I've seen there are some front sights with slight magnification as well, maybe not for the K31??, what's the deal with these?

The eagle Eye, or Adler Auge only works on the target side of the front sight on the Diopter system or the Target side of an EAS sight.
It does magnify but the greatest advantage is that it tremendously clarifies (Sharpens) the target image.

This is it, but it's really hard to tell that it's even there. It's extremely clear with no reflections.
In this shot the shooter side had an Anschutz Adjustable Aperture. See the serrated ring on the front? That's the Eagle Eye



This is mounted on the EAS sight. Hard to see from the front, but I can take a photo if necessary.
