Had a day off and after calling the NFA and finding out I wouldn't have my suppressor until January I decided I needed to go shoot the new .308 and .260 to get rid of some stress and the bad vibes from the shooting this weekend.
In order close to far:
Scout Supply Company built .260 with Rock Creek barrel and manners T5. Glass is a Vortex Razor.
Stock Tikka T3 Scout 20" in plastic stock. Vortex PST 6-24 MIL/MIL.
Bushmaster AR-15 Predator, Leupy 2.5-8.
Shot the .260 at 100 yards for several groups, think I will put a match trigger in it. Still, .614-.260=.350
The Tikka has had nothing done to it, and kicks like a mule compared to my heavy .260 with brake, but it sure shoots good for a factory gun with pulled/surplus bullets! Didn't do any barrel break in or load development.
I can't believe the shit that Feinstein is trying to pull, making AR's completely illegal. Felt good to go to the range and blow off steam. Shot my AR just for the fun of it today, and nope wasn't tempted to do anything dastardly with my high-cap mags.
A bit off range reports, but now is the time to pull together and talk to co-workers, friends, family and other acquaintances and educate people about firearms. This is more than a sport or fun past time, and we need to teach people why! Take care all.
