Hi shooters. Yes I'm old. I noticed this forum is targeting long range rifles. Makes sense ... snipers. What I also noticed was there are some handgun posts. As I used to be mainly a conventional NRA bullseye pistol shooter and I'm an EIC Distinguished Pistol Shooter, I thought I would try to help one person with a Glock trigger slap issue. The forum submitters, while trying to help, didn't really get to the answer that would help the person with the problem. A search through multiple forums never seemed to get to the right answer. Trigger slap is seen on multiple Glock models. I would rather post here than in a Glock forum where you are immediately trashed by 1,000 trolls calling you a Glock hater. Do I like my 2 Glocks? Yes ... but not as much as my 1911's. Are Glocks good guns, absolutely. Are Glock designs flawless? Absolutely not ... but they are darned good and I would never argee that they aren't reliable.
As 1 of my 2 Glocks had a design issue that caused trigger slap, I found and fixed the issue by comparing the two guns. Simple solution but no other forum had the right answer. I don't think there are a lot of gun issues that can be safely fixed by the owner in about 10 minutes.
