I picked up this rifle yesterday and have couple of questions about the bbl.
It is marked LRI 6.5 Creedmoor ELD-X.
I would like to pick up reloading components and would like to know if anyone is familiar with the bbl?
What should I be looking for as far as bullets?
Is Hornady brass good to go?
Also will need a set of dis and was thinking about picking up a set of Redding 6.5 Creedmoor Premium Deluxe Die Set. Has anyone used these particular dies, are they good to go?

Thank you,

The barrel is throated for the 143 eld X. You could use that or the 140 eld, which is very similar. Hornady brass works fine, but I choose to use Lapua or Peterson. Better quality, longer lasting. I’d pick Hornady match dies over the Redding any day of the week. The Redding’s are way overpriced and lesser quality imo. The hornady’s use the wilson/Redding neck bushings.

LRI is a top world class rifle builder who also was one of the first aftermarket companies to offer barrel upgrades for the RPR, IMHO nobody makes a better rifle than LRI.

Great find! It will shoot laser beams!

I do use Redding bushing sizing die and Forster micro seating dis for 223 and 308. I like them and will probably get the same thing for 6.5.
Which bushings should I be getting, neck or full length sizer die?
More than likely I will be picking up few hundred of Lapua SP brass and might use some hornady as well for the time being.

Thanks to all for the help
